About Me

After spending years moving around the country for my corporate job, I found myself staying at home with my three hilarious kids.  Now we move around the country for my hubby's corporate job.  Instead of cleaning my house, I spend my time learning everything I can about how to take better photographs.  Instead of working out, I spend my time learning how to edit photographs so the finished product matches the vision in my head.  So now I'd love the chance to use what I've learned to help you capture your family in photographs.

When I go visit my parents, one of my favorite things to do is go through our family albums.  My old bedroom is filled with framed photos of me from my childhood.  I love watching my kids' expressions when they realize I wasn't always 5'9" and "old".  They have so much fun looking at the evidence that I, too, was once just a kid.  There's also proof that I was, in fact, a dancer and cheerleader!

How will you remember what your son looked like when his two front teeth were missing?  Will you recall the entire year your daughter refused to wear anything to keep the hair out of her face?  Will you (moms, especially) be in any of the photographs or will you spend their childhood behind the scenes?  What about the serious phase your child went through when it always seemed he was so deep in thought?  Will you remember that expression?

If you are looking for digital images to add to the 14,000 iPhone photos that will forever remain in "the cloud", I may not be the photographer for you.  If you want to run your finger over the smile on your child's face on the canvas that hangs on your wall, while remembering how it always made her giggle, I think we should spend some time together.  Photographs can evoke feelings and trigger memories.  Let me help you and your family by providing something you can look at and touch for years to come.
